Y1's Team is has a diverse background of prior IT consulting and project experience.  Our core staff's expertise starts by being highly versed in large enterprise systems through medium sized systems.  We understand the complete needs for outsourced engineering services for Security, Networks, Computer Systems, Software Development, and Web Technologies – all global technologies.

Randy Bachman, Y1's founder has over 25 years of innovative technology and solution providing experience.  Holds a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering.  Spent 16 years in San Jose, CA holding engineering, marketing, and senior management positions at AMD, VIA, National, and other electronic and computer companies.  He also successfully founded and managed a technology design consulting firm for 6 years prior to returning to Cedar Rapids in 1998.  Most of these years required national and international relationships especially in East Asian countries and travel coordinating collaborating efforts on multiple aspects of outsourced projects.

Sean Taylor, Sean Taylor has over 20 years’ experience in technical business development, project management and technology solution creation for companies of all sizes.  Experienced in providing enterprise solutions for fortune 1000 companies or practical solutions for the small or medium business to solve an immediate need.  Bringing a wealth of knowledge from his experiences at GE Capital ( Apple, Compaq, Toshiba and HP), Fiserv Inc., Gateway as well as providing technology solutions with in the government, educational and commercial marketplaces. 

Sean is able to coordinate solutions for companies from local, regional, national and international perspectives. Sean has been involved in the execution of successful software solutions and deployments all over the world. Providing the right solution for the right situation to help companies improve their bottom line and streamline their business.  He has extensive product management experience with regards to custom software solutions, hardware and infrastructure solutions to meet your needs. Daphine Lippmann, Daphine joined Y1 as Office Manager in Spring 2011. She has over 12 years of experience in managing services businesses, accounting, and working with social media. She’s spearheading Y1’s social media focus [it's an in-process and ongoing essential part of all business requirements now and in the future] with her knowledge in LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. With her dedication, we’re looking forward to providing you with important updates - quickly. Let her know about your ideas and suggestions that would make Y1’s social networking be more resourceful & helpful for you! Of course, feel free to contact Daphine for any operations, project and contracting support, accounts payable & receivable, or payroll type questions too. 

Jason Wilson, Jason joined Y1 as a Technical Resource Specialist in early 2011. Very knowledgeable in IT hardware and software technologies that enables him to understand the project or job requirements identifying the successful technical matching of engineers and Y1 Client needs. He has over 11 years of experience in technical services support and administration of large Windows/Cisco networks. He is continuing self-study programs to continuously sharpen and broaden his technology expertise.

Gary White, Gary joins Y1 as a Technical Resource Specialist.  He comes to us with 20 years of experience in the IT industry in the government and private sectors.  Gary’s background is primarily in System Administration and infrastructure.  He spent 11 years in the USAF as a Command and Control Systems Administrator supporting Unix systems all over the world for the Department of Defense.  After his departure from the Air Force he worked as a government contractor for a brief time before taking a Director position with an Iowa communications company.  Gary’s technical background, systems knowledge and management experience give him a great perspective when matching up candidates for your open positions.   

Vipul Jain, Vipul recently joined Y1 as a Technical Resource Specialist. He has over 8 years of corporate experience in Service Support, Business Analysis, Operations and Management Reporting. As an ITIL V3 Foundation Certified Business Analysts he understands and proves his skills in his SDLC knowledge to providing Staff Augmentation services. He proficiently recruits enterprise level expertise in areas including ERP (SAP, Oracle Applications, Siebel, and PeopleSoft) and the reporting tools that are essential to rationalizing the results. His recruiting strategy is strong in client/server & Internet technologies development (Microsoft Technologies and Java/J2EE), and hardware administration (Systems, Database, Server, and Network) . 

Chris Zehr, provides over 20 years in Advanced Computer Systems, LAN/WAN Technologies.  As a Senior Network/Systems Engineer, he has a wealth of knowledge with all Windows OSs, UNIX, Linux, AS400, Novell, and Cisco platforms - to mention a few.  Held technical management positions with MCI, Civco, United Way (IBM consultant), and as an LAN/Systems instructor.  He is able to provide cost-effective IT solutions starting from design, audit analysis, justification, implement, and support of any infrastructures.  For more specifics, click here.
