After completion of the external and internal vulnerability audits, Y1SEs will report their findings. They will first perform analysis on the results of the audits and recommend procedures and technologies to assist your organization in creating and maintaining a secure enterprise environment. This information will include data regarding the effectiveness of current network security architecture and operational safeguards. Following delivery of the written report, a Y1SE will present results and recommendations to your staff.

The report will consist of a written summation of findings from the external and internal assessments and audits, providing you with a realistic impression of your organization’s security against the most likely attacks.  Some of the details that could be covered by the report include:

• Summary of Findings and Recommendations

• Risk Levels & Severity - Recommend Solutions

• All systems active on the network

• All services active on assessed servers

• Vulnerabilities associated with each service

• Systems penetrated during the audit

• Passwords cracked during the audit

• Any significant malicious activity detected

• Recommended corrective actions
